Evidence note

This diagram was reconstructed from surviving evidence. It is not an original project artifact.

The assignment

I joined The Academy Group while it was still a small-scale startup. As its first Project Manager, I built and ran the organization’s first project-management system.

I also supported cross-functional development of a student and educator portal, CRM, and gradebook serving more than 120 students and 15 partner organizations.

Two connected systems

The role connected two kinds of work: running projects across the organization and helping user needs become shipped improvements.

Retrospective process diagram

DESIGN THE SYSTEM → IMPLEMENT THE SYSTEM → MANAGE THE SYSTEM

Design, implementation, and day-to-day management formed one operational lifecycle.

Translating needs into delivery

For the student and educator platform, I translated user needs into requirements, prioritized improvements, built testing workflows, and supported launch.

USER NEEDS → REQUIREMENTS → PRIORITIES → TESTING → LAUNCH SUPPORT

Outcome

The verified result was a new project-management foundation alongside launch support for systems used by more than 120 students and 15 partner organizations. The reconstruction stops where the surviving evidence stops, so it does not claim undocumented tools or adoption.
